The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a contract to repair a slide on Missouri Route 100 in Gasconade County.
Gene Haile Excavating was awarded the contract to repair an area of roadside just west of Route J southwest of Hermann after submitting a combined bid of $125,538.
Work is expected to begin after Feb. 5 and must be completed by March 9. Once work begins, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
