MoDOT Crews Prepping for Snowy Weather during Monday Commute

ST. LOUIS – Frigid temperatures and snowy conditions are expected to continue during Monday morning’s commute in the St. Louis region.

MoDOT’s St. Louis district  had limited crews in place throughout the weekend monitoring conditions and treating roads because of snow and below freezing temperatures.

Sunday at midnight, crews will shift their focus to preparing for Monday morning travel conditions. Maintenance crews will report for duty between midnight and 3 a.m. throughout the district, and will be fully staffed for the duration of this winter event.

The National Weather Service has projected below freezing temperatures and about 1 inch of snow, starting overnight Sunday and ending Monday morning.
