Road Work Planned for Several Routes in Marion County

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing road work on several Marion County routes. Please see the dates and locations below.

Missouri Route 79 - Jan. 30 - 31, one lane closed at the U.S. Route 36 ramp for shoulder work between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day.

U.S. Route 36 - Feb. 7, one eastbound lane closed between Veterans Road in Hannibal and U.S. Route 61 for bridge maintenance on the Munger Lane overpass from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 36 - Feb. 8, one eastbound lane closed between U.S. Route 61 and Missouri Route 79 in Hannibal for bridge maintenance on the Missouri Route 79 overpass from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 36 - Feb. 9, one westbound lane closed between Missouri Route 79 and U.S. Route 61 in Hannibal for bridge maintenance on the Missouri Route 79 overpass from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists will need to use caution while traveling through these areas and obey all signage and personnel.
