The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission today awarded a project to repair the pavement on Interstate 44 in two areas:
- Laclede County: Eastbound and westbound lanes between the Elm Street interchange and Missouri Route 133.
- Crawford County: Eastbound lanes between Route H and Route ZZ.
The low bid for the contract was $1,089,480 and was submitted by Chester Bross Construction.
Work will take place later this year, though a specific start time has not been established. MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media, once a date has been set.
Occasional lane closures are possible in the work areas.
