Missouri Route 94 in Warren County to Receive Bridge Replacements at Lost Creek & Smith Creek

MACON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently awarded a contract to Don Schneiders Excavating of Jefferson City, Missouri, for two bridge replacements on Missouri Route 94 in Warren County. The projects will be at Lost Creek, located 3.2 miles east of Warren County Route B near McKittrick, and Smith Creek, located 1.7 miles east of Warren County Route O near Pinckney. The total cost of the projects is $1,383,095.

“With these bridges being between 70 and 80 years old, and showing significant deterioration over the years, the need was there to replace them,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga.

The two bridges will be closed while replacement work is completed. The work will begin late spring and should be completed by next fall.

“A more specific schedule will be shared after the contractor provides their plan for completing the work,” Maninga added.
