Road Work for Mid-Missouri

March 5-16, 2018

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of March 5 - 16, 2018.  Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations.  Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
 

Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 163 over Hinkson Creek – Bridge maintenance will take place Sunday, March 11 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open through the work area.

Daylight Hours
Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Sidewalk improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in June.


Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours

Interstate 70 between the Boone County line and the Montgomery County Line – Concrete repair will begin Tuesday, March 6.

            * Motorists can expect overnight lane closures, and are asked to follow instructions on the signs through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion late June.

 

Route 54 Bridge Improvements:

  • Route 54 over Richland Creek, west of County Road 210
  • Route 54 over the Ozark Valley Railroad, west of Bluff Street
  • Route 54 over Business Route 54, west of County Road 201

 

 

Westbound and Eastbound Route 54 have been reduced to one lane from the south crossover to the north crossover (from north of HH to north of Richland Creek) the week of February 26. Eastbound Route 54 traffic will be reduced to one lane and switched to the passing lane of westbound Route 54 via temporary median crossovers, and westbound Route 54 traffic will use the driving lane of westbound Route 54. The westbound Route 54 off-ramp to Business Route 54 is closed. The Business Route 54 on-ramp to eastbound Route 54 in Fulton is closed. These traffic impacts are scheduled until the end of May.

 

  • Route 54 over Hiller’s Creek, north of New Bloomfield

 

Westbound Route 54 has been reduced to one lane at Hillers Creek (north of New Bloomfield). The lane reduction at this bridge is scheduled until the end of April.

Route D between Route 94 and Route O – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Camden County
Daylight Hours/Overnight Hours
Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – The bridge replacement project is on hold until warmer weather can allow for concrete pouring. No work will take place the week of March 5. The project is scheduled for completion in July. 


Cole County
Daylight Hours
Route 17 between Route 54 and Route 52 in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues.        * Excavation work continues the week of March 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

       * Concrete repairs on the Saline Creek Bridge will take place the week of March 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route FF between Shikles Road and Spring Garden Road in Miller County – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, March 6 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Cooper County
Daylight Hours
Route 87 between Eleventh Street and Hail Ridge Court – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 98 between Route 87 and Route 179 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Crawford County

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route Y – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route 19 between Route 8 and Route TT in Dent County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route UU between Interstate 44 and Argo Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Dent County
Daylight Hours
Route 19 between Route 68 and Route TT– Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 19 between Route TT and Route 8 in Crawford County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Gasconade County
Daylight Hours
Route 100 between Route J and Coles Creek Road – Flood repair continues. Occasional lane closures are possible in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-March.  

Route T over Bourbeuse River – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

 

Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 40 over Salt Creek – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route 124 between Route 240 and Route Y – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route Y between Route 124 and County Road 138 – Brush cutting will take place Thursday, March 8 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Laclede County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area. 

Route 32 between Route N and Universal Drive – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route J over Interstate 44 – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Maries County
Daylight Hours
Route 42 between Route BB and County Road 626 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 5 through Wednesday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route JJ between Route T and County Road 205 – Tree limb removal will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Miller County
Daylight Hours
Route 17 between Route 52 and Route 54 in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues.        * Excavation work continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 87 between Industrial Drive and Manor Drive – Roadside work will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route H between Route 17 and Marys Home Road– Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues.        * Excavation work continues the week of February 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November. 

Route K between Route 17 and Crossroads Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route FF between Spring Garden Road and Shikles Road in Cole County – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, March 6 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Moniteau County

Route 50 between Route 87 and Pam Jones Road – Rumble strip installation will take place Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route E between Route 50 and Route W – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route Y between Route 179 and Garrett Road – Tree cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Morgan County
Daylight Hours
Route W between Old Five Road and Route Y in Miller County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Osage County
Daylight Hours
Route A between Route 50 and Route W – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday March, 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route N between Route 100 and Route J – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday March, 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route T between Route 63 and Route AA– Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday March, 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Phelps County
Daylight Hours
Route J between Route K and Route M – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route J between Interstate 44 and Route K – Roadway resurfacing will begin on Monday, March 5.

            *Guardrail installation on Route J over Interstate 44 will take place the week of March 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.


Pulaski County

Route 28 between Interstate 44 and Route C – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Thursday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Washington County
Daylight Hours
Route E between Route 47 and Route CC – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. 

Route CC between Route E and Cole Road in St. Francois County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
