MoDOT Invites Public to Provide Feedback at Second Chester Bridge Study Open House

WHAT:  Citizens are invited to the second public open house to learn more about the Chester Bridge Study and provide feedback. Reasonable Alternatives for rehabilitation or replacement of the Chester Bridge will be presented for public input.

WHERE: Perryville Higher Education Center (This facility is ADA accessible.)

WHEN: Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Stop by anytime, there will be no formal presentation.

WHY:  The meeting will provide informational exhibits on the purpose and need for the study, the study area, Conceptual Alternatives that have been studied, Reasonable Alternatives that have been identified, and the study schedule. Project team members will be stationed at each exhibit to answer questions from the public. Attendees will have an opportunity provide their feedback.

The Chester Bridge Study is an Environmental Assessment being conducted by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Illinois Department of Transportation. The study team is being led by CH2M. The goal of the study is to develop a safe and reliable Route 51 river crossing.
