JACKSON AND CASS COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting a moving operation in the left lane along Interstate 49 in both directions from Blue Ridge Blvd. to 163rd Street beginning at 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Mar. 23. This lane closure is for drainage inspection. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
