New I-44 Interchange/Roundabout Projects

In Marshfield Focus of April 3 Public Meeting

Marshfield, Webster County – Plans to build a new I-44 interchange in Marshfield and a new roundabout on Webster County Route CC at Banning Street/Buffalo Street in Marshfield will be the focus of a public meeting on April 3 in the Webster County community, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. 

The come-and-go style meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Marshfield Senior Center, 427 W. Washington Street. NO FORMAL PRESENTATION is planned. 

Anyone unable to attend the in-person meeting can view the same exhibits and give their comments at an online public meeting at www.modot.org/southwest

A new interchange will be built on I-44 at Mile Marker 103 in Marshfield and a new roundabout will be built at the Route CC/Banning Street/Buffalo Street intersection. Both projects could begin as early as 2019. 

MoDOT is partnering with the City of Marshfield on both projects and the partners are sharing the cost of the road improvements. 

The estimated total project cost of the interchange is $15.6 million dollars. The estimated total project cost of the roundabout is $1.9 million.
