The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of March 26-April 6, 2018. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County

Route 124 between Route B and Route CC – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements are underway.
* Shoulder paving continues during the overnight hours south of Centralia the week of March 26. Once shoulders are complete on Route 124, shoulder paving on Route B will start. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Sidewalk improvements continue.
* Work between Route B and Brown Station Road will include curb and gutter improvements, entrance improvements and excavation work. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Callaway County

Route 54 Bridge Improvements
Here is a look at traffic impacts currently in place near the U.S. Route 54 bridges over Ozark Valley Railroad, Richland Creek and Business Route 54:
- The westbound Route 54 off-ramp to Business Route 54 in Fulton is closed.
- The Business Route 54 on-ramp to eastbound Route 54 in Fulton is closed.
- Eastbound and westbound Route 54 traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction through the work zone area.
- Route 54 traffic is head to head in the westbound lanes and separated by concrete barriers.
- Route 54 median crossovers at Callaway County Roads 114, 201 and 210 are closed.
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Boone County line and the Montgomery County line – Concrete repair continues. One lane in each direction will be open in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Route 54 over Hiller’s Creek, north of New Bloomfield
Westbound Route 54 has been reduced to one lane. The lane reduction at this bridge is scheduled until the end of April.

Route O between Route CC and State Street – Culvert pipe repair in various areas will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. The work will take place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Road closures will take place for up to three hours in each location. Motorists are advised to see an alternate route around the area.
Route HH at County Road 214 – Ditch repair will take place on Monday, March 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – The bridge replacement project is on hold until warmer weather can allow for concrete pouring. The project is scheduled for completion in July.

Route 5 between Route 7 and the Niangua River – Roadway resurfacing will begin on Monday, April 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 5 between Route 7 and Route 64 in Laclede County – Roadway resurfacing and guardrail installation and replacement continues.
* Guardrail work will take place between Route 7 and Route E in Laclede County the week of March 26. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Cole County

Route 17 between Route 54 and Route 52 in Miller County – The roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening is on hold until June. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Route 8 and Route VV – Roadside work will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route DD between Route 19 and Evans Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU between Interstate 44 and Argo Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

* Route 42 is reduced to one lane at the Maries River and Fly Creek bridges. Traffic will be controlled through the area with portable traffic signals. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route P over Lanes Fork, west of County Road 439 – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County

Route 17 between Route 52 and Route 54 in Cole County – The roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening is on hold until June. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 42 between Route 17 and Route 63 in Maries County – Roadway resurfacing, shoulder addition and guardrail installation is underway.
* Route 42 is reduced to one lane at the Maries River and Fly Creek bridges. Traffic will be controlled through the area with portable traffic signals. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route H between Route 17 and Marys Home Road– The roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening is on hold until June. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route K between Route 17 and Crossroads Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Pin Oak Road and Scrivner Road – Drainage repair will take place Monday, April 2 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Route Y and Old Five Road in Morgan County - Brush cutting will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, April 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route CC between Route 52 and Route OO – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, March 26 through Thursday, March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County
