Weather permitting, concrete repair work on Interstate 70 in Cooper County will begin Monday night, March 26. The work, which will start at Route 179 and end at the Saline County line, will take place in the eastbound and westbound lanes and will result in the closure of one lane in each direction in the work area.
Work is expected to take place from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. each night. Message boards and signs will warn motorists of the lane closures.
