The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of April 16-27, 2018. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 124 between Route B and Route CC – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements continue.
* Shoulder paving continues during the overnight hours south of Centralia the week of April 16. Once shoulders are complete on Route 124, shoulder paving on Route B will start. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Overnight Hours
Route 40 between Route 5 and Route UU – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements will begin the week of April 16.
*Pavement repair will close Route 40 between the I-70 westbound on-ramp and Route UU Monday-Friday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Work will continue during daylight hours and flaggers will be directing traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Daylight Hours
Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Sidewalk improvements continue.
* Work between Route B and Brown Station Road will include curb and gutter improvements, entrance improvements and excavation work. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Route B between Brown Station Road and Kemper Road – Concrete repair will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County

Route 54 Bridge Improvements
Here is a look at traffic impacts currently in place near the U.S. Route 54 bridges over Ozark Valley Railroad, Richland Creek and Business Route 54:
- The westbound Route 54 off-ramp to Business Route 54 in Fulton is closed.
- The Business Route 54 on-ramp to eastbound Route 54 in Fulton is closed.
- Eastbound and westbound Route 54 traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction through the work zone area.
- Route 54 traffic is head to head in the westbound lanes and separated by concrete barriers.
- Route 54 median crossovers at Callaway County Roads 114, 201 and 210 are closed.
Route 54 over Hiller’s Creek, north of New Bloomfield
Westbound Route 54 has been reduced to one lane. The lane reduction at this bridge is scheduled until the end of April.
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Boone County line and the Montgomery County line – Concrete repair in the eastbound and westbound lanes will begin Monday, April 16. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
* The westbound exit ramp to Route HH (Hatton Exit) will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 for asphalt resurfacing.
Daylight Hours
Route O between Route D and County Road 111 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. The work will take place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. Road closures will take place for up to three hours in each location. Motorists are advised to see an alternate route around the area.
Route HH at County Road 214 – Ditch work will take place on Thursday, April 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – Bridge replacement continues. Only the eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
* Westbound motorists will need to use the U.S. Route 54 crossover to connect with the Route 54 east crossover to travel east across the Outer Road bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in July.

Route 5 between Route 7 and the Niangua River – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 5 between Route 7 and Route 64 in Laclede County – Roadway resurfacing and guardrail installation and replacement continue.
* Guardrail work between Route 7 and Route E will continue the week of April 16. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 54 between the Grand Glaize Bridge and Route 17 in Cole County – Roadside work along the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Cole County

Route 19 between Route P and Wildcat Pride Drive – Pavement marking will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route 8 and Route TT in Dent County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Route 8 and Route VV – Roadside work will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Interstate 44 and Route 185 in Washington County – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 Outer Road between Route H and East Grand Street – Concrete replacement will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route F over Holt Creek, south of Route 32 – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed, and traffic is detoured around the work area. The project is scheduled to be completed in June.

Route 19 between Route 68 and Route TT – Brush removal will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route TT and Route 8 in Crawford County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 32 between Route 72 and Route 63 in Texas County – Culvert pipe repair and replacement in various locations will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 32 between Route 72 and Route 63 in Texas County – Pavement repair will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

* Pavement work in the westbound lanes west of St. Robert will take place the week of April 16. Guardrail repair and replacement will take place in various locations in the eastbound and westbound lanes. The project is scheduled for completion in August.

Route 5 between Route 64 and Route 7 in Camden County – Roadway resurfacing and guardrail installation and replacement continue.
* Guardrail work between Route 7 and Route E will continue the week of April 16. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 32 between Route 5 and Route 17 in Texas County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening will begin on Monday, April 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route E between Route 5 and the Dallas County line – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Route A and Business Loop 44 – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. Route 42 between Route 63 and Route 17 in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing, shoulder addition and guardrail installation continue.
* Route 42 is reduced to one lane in various locations between Vienna and Iberia.
* Shoulder widening work will take place in Iberia the week of April 16. Minimal traffic disruptions are expected. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 63 between County Road 210 and County Road 302 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight Hours
Route 42 between Route 17 and Route 63 in Maries County – Roadway resurfacing, shoulder addition and guardrail installation continue.
* Route 42 is reduced to one lane in various locations between Vienna and Iberia.
* Shoulder widening work will take place in Iberia the week of April 16. Minimal traffic disruptions are expected. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route 54 between Route 17 in Cole County and the Grand Glaize Bridge in Camden County – Roadside work along the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 19. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 54 between Route 52 and Route V – Pavement testing in the westbound lanes will take place Monday, April 23 through Thursday, April 26. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route W between Route Y and Old Five Road in Morgan County - Brush cutting will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Route 54 at Bagnell Dam – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17. The road will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
Morgan County

Route T between Route 52 and Ferry Landing Road – Roadway patching will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Old Five Road and Route Y in Miller County - Brush cutting will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County

Route T between Route 63 and Route AA – Brush cutting will take place Monday, April 16 through Thursday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Phelps County

Route B over the Bourbeuse River, north of County Road 1400 – Bridge replacement will begin on Monday, April 16.
* Initial groundwork will take place the week of April 16. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route D over the Burlington Northern/Sante Fe Railroad, east of Interstate 44 – Bridge replacement will begin on Monday, April 16.
