Pothole patching and resurfacing work underway on Route 92

PLATTE/CLAY COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct pothole patching and resurfacing work in the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 92 between Route DD and I-29 at Smithville from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. now until Friday, April 20. Work on Route 169 to the Route DD Roundabout will occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please use caution as crews work in these designated areas. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
