MoDOT to open new ramp from NB Route 141 to westbound I-44 Friday

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use northbound Route 141 during their commute may start to see some improvements in their commute time as MoDOT will open a new loop ramp from northbound Route 141 to westbound I-44 by 3 p.m. Friday, April 27.

Drivers on northbound Route 141 who are going to westbound I-44 will stay in the right lane and take the new loop ramp to I-44. Drivers heading to the north outer road will need to continue to use the left turn lane.

This will be the first of several changes coming to the Route 141 and I-44 interchange as part of continuing work to improve the flow of traffic around the interchange. In about two weeks, the flyover ramp from southbound Route 141 to eastbound I-44 will open.

Drivers traveling around the Route 141 and I-44 interchange should slow down and pay attention for the next several weeks as they, and other travelers, get used to the new traffic patterns.
