Thank you for your patience as this very complex project was completed UNDER traffic. We appreciate your safe driving as you navigated traffic shifts, closed lanes, closed roads, and a sea of orange cones.
The work to build the Chestnut Expressway Railroad Bridge is nearing completion. Over the next week or so, you may experience lane closings as contractor crews do cleanup work around the project.
We also would like to thank Lehman Construction, the prime contractor, for working hard to keep the project moving despite delays due to unforeseen utility line relocations and delays associated with the weather.
We hope you’re finding the improvements have greatly improved safety and traffic flow in the area of Chestnut Expressway and Route 65!
Please take a few minutes to fill out a survey about the project updates/alerts you received during the project. Your feedback will help us better serve you in the future.
