ROCK PORT, Mo. – The East Fork of High Creek Bridge on U.S. Route 275 in Atchison County will be narrowed to one lane beginning next week. Herzog Contracting Corporation, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will upgrade the concrete bridge barrier curb starting Monday, April 30. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
This bridge maintenance is planned to continue for two weeks, followed by a resurfacing and shoulder improvement project on Route 275. The resurfacing will extend from the Iowa state line to U.S. Route 136. It is scheduled to being after Memorial Day.
As with all work, schedules are weather dependent and could change.
