GREEN CITY, Mo. – Drivers on Route 129 south of Green City will have a much smoother ride after next week. Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp. of St. Joseph, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, begin resurfacing Route 129 between Route H and Route 6 on Monday, May 7. The project should take one week to complete. Crews will be working Monday through Saturday during daylight hours. The road will be narrowed to one lane and motorists will be directed through the work zone using flaggers and a pilot car.
Schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
