Work On Route 5 in Camden County to Close Ramps

Contractors resurfacing Missouri Route 5 in Camden County for the Missouri Department of Transportation will resurface the ramps at the Route 5/U.S. Route 54 interchange in Camdenton, Tuesday, May 8 through Thursday, May 10.

            As a result of the work, the following ramp closures are tentatively scheduled:

Tuesday May 8:

  • The southbound Route 5 ramp to westbound Route 54, closed between 9 p.m and 5 a.m.
  • The eastbound Route 54 ramp to southbound Route 5, closed between 9 p.m and 5 a.m.

Wednesday May 9:

  • The westbound Route 54 ramp to southbound Route 5, closed between 12 a.m and 5 a.m.
  • The southbound Route 5 ramp to eastbound Route 54, closed between 12 a.m and 5 a.m.

      Motorists are advised to seek an alternate Route around the closures. Message boards will advise motorists of the work in the area.

The closures are part of a resurfacing project on Route 5 between the Niangua River and Route 7 in Camden County. The entire project is scheduled for completion by fall.
