MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing work on the following routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Missouri Route 149 - May 7 and May 9-10, road closed from Macon County Route J to Bighorn Street for bridge work at Bryan Creek. Work will be completed between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day
U.S. Route 36 EB - May 9, one lane traffic (closing the driving lane) from Long Branch Road to U.S. Route 63 for for bridge work at Gantz Street near Macon. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 36 EB - May 10, one lane traffic (closing the passing lane) from Long Branch Road to U.S. Route 63 for for bridge work at Gantz Street near Macon. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Macon County Route M - May 17, road closed from Meadowlark Avenue to Macintosh Avenue for a culvert replacment. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day.
For the closure, motorists will need to use alternate routes. Please remember to always obey all work zone signs and personnel. Also, please put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
