Upcoming Bridge Improvements on Route HH in Wayne County

McKenzie Creek Bridge in Piedmont

Contractor crews will soon begin work to replace the deck of the Route HH bridge over McKenzie Creek in Wayne County.

The bridge is located between Industrial Drive in Piedmont, Mo., and County Road 357.

Construction of a temporary bypass will begin Monday, May 14 at 6 a.m., weather permitting. Once the temporary bypass is in place, traffic will shift to utilize the bypass and work to replace the bridge deck will begin. Completion is anticipated on Aug. 23, weather permitting.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
