MACON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently awarded a contract to Lehman Construction of California, Missouri, for two bridge rehabilitations. One project will be on Warren County Route F over Interstate 70. The other project is on Wildcat Drive over I-70. Both projects are near Wright City. The total cost of the projects is $385,855.
“We will be replacing the expansion joints on these bridges to extend the life of the bridges,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga.
Work on these projects will be completed at night with one lane closures and flagging operations. All lanes will be open during the daytime. The work could begin as early as this summer and should be completed by this fall.
“A more specific schedule will be shared after the contractor provides their plan for completing the work,” Maninga added.
