COLUMBIA – Contractors have rescheduled nighttime resurfacing of the entrance and exit ramps at the U.S. Route 63/Boone County Route B interchange in Columbia to Monday, May 14.
The work will close the exit and entrance ramps at the Route 63/Route B interchange between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday. Crews will work on the north ramps first, and will continue work with the south ramps. The ramps were originally scheduled to be resurfaced tonight but plans were changed due to scheduling delays caused by weather during the week.
Entrance and exit ramps at Route B and Business Loop 70 are scheduled to be resurfaced during the overnight hours between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15.
The resurfacing of the ramps is part of a project to make a series of roadway improvements to Boone County Route B. The entire project, including sidewalk and signal work, is scheduled to be completed in June.
