Public Meeting Set to Discuss Replacement of Route 124 Bridge

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 23 to provide information on a proposed project to replace the Grindstone Creek Bridge on Missouri Route 124 in Boone County. The project, which will take place approximately one-half mile west of U.S. Route 63, is scheduled to take place in 2019.

The public meeting will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Boone County Public Works Building, 780 East Highway 124, Hallsville. The meeting facility is accessible to people with disabilities.

The public may attend the meeting at any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to speak with MoDOT staff and provide input. No formal presentation will be made.
