Division Street CLOSED at Route 65 in Springfield at Night Weeks of May 21 and May 28
What: Division Street on either side of Route 65 in Springfield will be CLOSED at night to allow contractor crews to make pavement repairs
Where/When/Traffic Impacts:
- Division Street (Greene County Route YY) CLOSED between Route 65 and LeCompte Road. Also, northbound ramps at Route 65/Division Street interchange CLOSED.
- Work hours: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday-Thursday, May 21-26
- Division Street CLOSED between Route 65 and the Associated Wholesale Grocers entrance. Also, southbound ramps at Route 65/Division Street interchange CLOSED.
- Work hours: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday-Friday, May 29-June 1
- Division Street will remain OPEN during daytime hours
- Drivers are urged to use other nearby city/county routes to reach Chestnut Expressway or Kearney Street to access Route 65 during the night work.
- No work will take place over the Memorial Day weekend. All lanes will remain open on Division Street.
Details: Work is part of the larger project to repair the Division Street bridge over Route 65, widen the northbound off ramp from Route 65 to Division Street, and relocate Eastgate Avenue’s intersection with Division Street east of its original location. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
