The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of May 28 – June 8, 2018. Scheduled lane closures will not take place on Monday, May 28 for the Memorial Day Holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 63 at Bonne Femme Creek, south of Discovery Parkway – Bridge improvements and acceleration lane construction in the southbound lanes continue. One southbound lane is closed through the work area.
* The project will move into Phase 2 on Wednesday, May 30 around 2:00 p.m. All southbound traffic will be shifted into the southbound driving lane with a decreased lane width. Access to Route 63 from Tom Bass Road is closed. All lanes are expected to reopen to traffic in June. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route 124 between Route B and Route CC – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements continue.
* Resurfacing operations will take place during the overnight hours the week of May 21. The project is scheduled for completion in June.

Route 40 between Route UU and Route 5 in Howard County – Pavement repairs have been suspended until Monday, June 25.
Route 63 between Route 763 and Oakland Gravel Road – Concrete repair in the southbound lane will take place Tuesday, May 29. One southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Roadway resurfacing and sidewalk improvements continue.
* ADA and sidewalk upgrades between Route 63 and Business Loop 70 will continue the week of May 28. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 over Stinson Creek - Rehabilitation work on the eastbound bridge over Stinson Creek will begin on Wednesday, May 30. One eastbound lane will be closed. Project is scheduled for completion in July.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between Route AE and County Road 348 – Pavement patching in the westbound lanes will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – Bridge replacement continues. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
* Westbound motorists will need to use the U.S. Route 54 crossover to connect with the Route 54 east crossover to travel east across the Outer Road bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in July.
Route 5 between Route 7 and the Niangua River – Project is on hold until the first of July when paving will begin. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Broadway Street and Stadium Boulevard – Roadway resurfacing, pavement repair, guard rail replacement and bridge repair is underway.
* Rehabilitation work on the eastbound Route 54 bridges over Stadium Boulevard and Broadway Street is underway. One eastbound lane is closed from south of Stadium Boulevard to Broadway Street.
* The eastbound entrance ramp from Christy Drive to Route 54 is closed.
* All lanes of traffic will be open for the Memorial Day weekend. Closures will resume on Tuesday, May 29 and remain in place until mid-June.
Cooper County

Route W between Route J and Clarksburg Drive – Pavement patching will take place Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, June 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route KK between Route B and Old Concord Road– Pavement patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Wednesday, May 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County

Route 19 between Route P and Wildcat Pride Drive – Pavement marking will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Route 8 and Route YY – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Pavement patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, June 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N over the Meramec River west of Hinch Road- Bridge deck repair will take place Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route AA between Route 19 and Cherryville Road – Roadway patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route BB between Route 8 and Westover Road – Roadway patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route PP between Route 19 and Bass Road – Roadway patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route VV between Route 19 and Route M – Roadway patching will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route YY between Route 68 and Route M – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route F over Holt Creek, south of Route 32 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled to be completed in June.

Route 32 between Route 72 and Route 63 in Texas County – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open. Crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route 32 between Route W and Craig Industrial Drive – Pavement patching will take place Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 119 between Route 32 and County Road 6670 – Roadway resurfacing continues.
One lane will be open. Crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route DD between Route H and County Road 2210 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C between Interstate 44 and Route 5 – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County

* Guardrail repair and replacement will take place in various locations in the eastbound and westbound lanes the week of May 28.
* Bridge repair work in the westbound lanes at mile marker 172.8 in Phelps County will begin the week of May 28. One westbound lane will be open in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.

Route 5 between Route C and Farmer’s Lane – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening is underway. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Route 32 between Route 5 and Route 17 in Texas County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route C between Interstate 44 and Route 5 – Roadside work will take place Tuesday, May 29 through Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between Route 17 and Route 32 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
