Pavement work will cause various lane closures along 69 Highway in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following closures along 69 Highway for concrete pavement repair work. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the crossover north of Cameron Rd. 24/7 beginning at 3 a.m. Monday, June 4 and continuing through 5 p.m. Friday, June 8.

Crews will close the southbound entrance to Summersette Rd. 24/7 beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 6 and continuing through 5 p.m. Monday, June 11.

Crews will close the right turn lane of northbound Cameron Rd. between Rhodus Rd. and Williams Creek Bridge 24/7 beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 6 and continuing through 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 27.                                                              

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
