ROCK PORT, Mo. – With work on the U.S. Route 275 East Fork of High Creek Bridge completed, Herzog Contracting Corporation, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will move to the next phase of the project. The resurfacing and shoulder improvments have now been scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 14, on U.S. Route 275 from the Iowa line to U.S. Route 136. Due to weather and other factors contractors were unable to begin work on Tuesday, May 29, as originally scheduled.
Crews plan to work during daylight hours Monday through Saturday with expected completion in mid-July. Traffic control will be in place alerting motorists of the work and one lane of U.S. Route 275 will remain open.
As with all work, schedules are weather dependent and could change.
MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
