Glenstone Avenue/Kearney Street Intersection OPEN; 

Outside Lanes Now Closed and Right Turns Restricted

What/Where:

• Glenstone Avenue/Kearney Street intersection in Springfield OPEN following weekend closing for pavement replacement
• Outside lanes of Glenstone Avenue between I-44 and Kearney Street closed; outside lanes of Kearney Street closed at Glenstone Avenue now closed for pavement replacement 

When: 5:30 a.m. on Monday, June 11 

Traffic Impacts:

• All through lanes and left-turn lanes on Glenstone Avenue and Kearney Street OPEN

• Outside lanes of Glenstone Avenue at Evergreen/Kerr Street and at Kearney Street closed; outside lanes of Kearney Street at Glenstone Avenue close.

• Drivers will NOT be able to make right turns at either intersection

• Drivers urged to seek alternate routes to their destinations unless visiting businesses in the area 

Details: Work is part of the larger project to replace the deteriorating concrete pavement on Glenstone Avenue in four separate locations between Grand Street and I-44 in Springfield. 

(Weather and/or unforeseen construction delays will alter the work schedule.)
