Three Jasper County Routes Scheduled for

Resurfacing Beginning Week of June 18

Jasper County – Drivers can expect one-lane traffic and occasional traffic delays when a project to resurface Jasper County routes HH, AA and VV begins on the week of Monday, June 18, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

These routes will be resurfaced:

  • Route HH between Route AA and I-49
  • Route AA between Route HH and Route VV
  • Route VV between Missouri Route 249 and Prosperity Avenue

Crews will work between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Drivers can expect lane closings, pilot cars and flaggers. Drivers should wait for pilot cars before entering areas where resurfacing is being done from side roads.

All lanes of traffic will be open during nighttime hours.

Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone.

Weather and/or scheduling delays will alter the work schedule.

Project Background

  • Prime Contractor: APAC-Central Inc., Fayetteville, Ark.
  • Completion Date: November 1, 2018 (However, the contractor expects to complete the work by early August)
  • Construction Cost: $998,000
