JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have various lane closures along Interstate 70 between Phelps Road and Pittman Road beginning on Monday, June 18, until Wednesday, June 20. These lane closures are part of the bridge construction of the Crysler, Pittman, and Phelps bridges over I-70. All work is weather permitting.
- Monday, June 18
- The left lane of westbound I-70 at Pittman Road will be closed beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 18, until 6 a.m. the following morning.
- Tuesday, June 19
- The left lane of westbound I-70 Crysler Avenue will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, until 6 a.m. the following morning.
- The left lane of eastbound I-70 at Crysler Avenue will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, until 6 a.m. the following morning.
- Wednesday, June 20
- The left lane of westbound I-70 at Crysler Avenue will be closed at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, until 6 a.m. the following morning.
- The left lane of eastbound I-70 at Crysler Avenue will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, until 6 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
