The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of June 18-29, 2018. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 63 at Bonne Femme Creek, south of Discovery Parkway – Bridge improvements and acceleration lane construction in the southbound lanes is near completion. One southbound lane is closed through the work area.
* The project is now in Phase 2. All southbound traffic has been shifted into the southbound driving lane with a decreased lane width of 12 feet.
*Access to Route 63 from Tom Bass Road is closed.
*All lanes are expected to reopen to traffic in June.
The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route 124 between Route B and Route CC – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements continue. Resurfacing operations will take place during the overnight hours the week of June 18. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Overnight Hours
Sorrells Overpass Drive over Interstate 70 – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Loop 70 over Interstate 70 – Bridge maintenance will take place Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route B between Business Loop 70 and Brown Station Road – Roadway resurfacing and sidewalk improvements continue.
* ADA and sidewalk upgrades between Route 63 and Business Loop 70 will continue the week of June 18. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route 54 Bridge Improvements
Here is a look at traffic impacts currently in place near the U.S. Route 54 improvement project:
* Guard cable installation on the eastbound and westbound Route 54 from Holts Summit to Route HH in Fulton
* Bridge rehabilitation work on the eastbound Route 54 over Stinson Creek. One eastbound lane of Route 54 will be closed through the work area.
These traffic impacts are scheduled until the end of July.

Route TT between Route 54 and County Road 452 – Pavement patching will take place on Monday, June 18. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 Outer Road over Linn Creek – Bridge replacement continues. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
* Westbound motorists will need to use the U.S. Route 54 crossover to connect with the Route 54 east crossover to travel east across the Outer Road bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in July.
Route 5 between Route 7 and the Niangua River – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route 5 between Route 7 and Route E in Laclede County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues.
* Guardrail work between Route 7 and Route E will take place the week of June 25. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
*Route 54 between Broadway Street and Stadium Boulevard – Roadway resurfacing, pavement repair, guard rail replacement and bridge repair continues.
* The project will move into its second stage beginning Monday, June 11. The second stage will include rehabilitation work on the ramp bridge that carries eastbound Route 50 to eastbound Route 54/northbound Route 63. The bridge work will require the following around-the-clock ramp closures:
- Eastbound Route 50 to eastbound Route 54/northbound Route 63
- Eastbound Route 54 to westbound Route 50 and eastbound Route 50/southbound Route 63
The detour for motorists who want to access all of the routes above is Business Route 50 (Missouri Boulevard). Work on the ramp bridge is scheduled to be completed by June 25 and all ramps will be reopened.
* Rehabilitation work on the eastbound Route 54 bridges over Stadium Boulevard and Broadway Street continues. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area. The eastbound bridge work is scheduled for completion in mid-June.
* The eastbound entrance ramp from Christy Drive to Route 54 is closed.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route 17 between Route 54 and Route 52 Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route W between Route B and East Bend Road – Pavement patching will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route M and Lock and Dam Road – Pavement patching will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
South Outer Road 50 between Big Horn Drive and Truman Boulevard – Pavement patching will take place Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cooper County

Route J between Spruce Street and Bunceton City limits – Sidewalk improvements will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place on Thursday, June 21. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route AA between Route 19 and Cherryville Road – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. Route F over Holt Creek, South of Route 32 – The bridge was opened to traffic on June 14.
Route F over Dry Fork Creek, South of Route NN – Bridge replacement is underway.
The road is closed. Motorists should use the signed detour around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Route W between EE and Private Drive – Roadside work will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route EE between Route W and County Road 5225 – Roadside work will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route FF between Route 68 and Route 72 – Roadside work will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route 72 and County Road 4290 – Roadside work will take place Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County

Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J between Route 100 and Toll Ferry Road – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Monday, June 18 through Wednesday, June 20. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Interstate 44 between Route 133 and Route D in Phelps County – Roadway resurfacing continues.
* Guardrail repair and replacement will take place in various locations in the eastbound and westbound lanes the week of June 18.
* Bridge repair work in the westbound lanes between mile marker 171 and 173 in Phelps County continues. One westbound lane will be open in the work area. Work on the westbound bridge is scheduled for completion in late June.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in August.
Interstate 44 between Elm Street and Route 133 – Pavement patching continues. One lane will be open through the work area. Project is scheduled for completion in November.

Route 5 between Route C and Farmer’s Lane – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Route 32 between Route 5 and Route 17 in Texas County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder widening continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
Route U between Route 17 and Route 32 – Pavement patching will take place Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County
