KANSAS CITY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have a double left lane closure along southbound Interstate 49 between MO Route 150 and 163rd Street beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, until 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 21. There will also be a double right lane closure in the same area beginning at 7 p.m. on both Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23, until noon the following days. These lane closures are for pavement repairs. All work is weather permitting.
Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
