TRAFFIC ALERT

What: Rebuilding street approaches at Kerr Street/Evergreen Street at Glenstone Avenue in Springfield 

When/Where:

• 6 p.m.-6 a.m. Thursday, June 21: Kerr Street east of Glenstone Avenue CLOSED
• 6 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday, June 25: Evergreen Street west of Glenstone Avenue CLOSED
• The closings had originally be scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights, June 20 and June 21. But the threat of rain has caused the work to be rescheduled.  

Traffic Impacts:

• Drivers will not be able to access Glenstone Avenue from Kerr Street and from Evergreen Street during the side street closings
• Drivers on Kerr Street and Evergreen Street will not be able to access Glenstone Avenue
• Drivers are urged to find alternate routes to get around the closings 

Details: Work is part of the larger project to replace the deteriorating concrete pavement on Glenstone Avenue in four separate locations between Grand Street and I-44 in Springfield. 

(Weather and/or unforeseen construction delays will alter the work schedule.)
