Intersection improvements will cause various lanes closures on Route 152

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following closures as part of an intersection and signal improvement project along Route 152 in Clay County. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will intermittently close various lanes of eastbound and westbound Route 152 between Shoal Creek Parkway and N. Flintlock Rd. from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24 to setup traffic pattern changes.

Crews will intermittently close various lanes of eastbound and westbound Route 152 between Shoal Creek Parkway and N. Flintlock Rd. from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly beginning Monday, June 25 and continuing until Friday, June 29 for intersection and signal improvements.

Crews will narrow lanes of eastbound and westbound Route 152 between Shoal Creek Parkway and N. Flintlock Rd. 24/7 beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24 and continuing through Monday, July 23.                                                             

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
