MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work on routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Macon County Route O - July 2-3, one lane traffic from Macon County Route J to U.S. Route 36 for patching operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
Macon County Route J - July 2-3, one lane traffic from Dairy Avenue to Missouri Route 3 for patching operations. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
U.S. 36 eastbound - July 9-12, one lane traffic near the Chariton River Bridge 36, west of Missouri Route 3, for bridge work. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. There will be a 13 ft. width restriction in place while work is completed.
Please use caution if you will be traveling through these areas. As always, please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
