Under the contract, the following bridges will be repaired:

  • Route 17 over Route 54 – built in 1972
  • Route 54 westbound over Little Gravois Creek – built in 1966
  • Route 54 eastbound and westbound over Wrights Creek – both built in 1972
  • Route 54 eastbound and westbound over Old Tuscumbia Road – both built in 1973
  • Route 54 eastbound over the Rock Island Railroad, east of Route 87 – built in 1973
  • Route 54 eastbound and westbound over Business 54 – both built in 1973

The bridges will get new driving surfaces and guardrail.

The work is expected to begin this summer, with all nine bridges expected to be complete in the fall of 2019.
