LEE’S SUMMIT – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have a right lane closure along both southbound Lee’s Summit Road at I-70 and southbound Noland Road at I-70 beginning on Monday, July 9 Thursday, July 12, until Friday, July 27, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. This lane closure is for preparation work for ADA improvements. While work is not happening, the lane will be open for use. There is also the potential for a right lane closure on the eastbound I-70 off ramp to Lee’s Summit Road while work is in progress. All work is weather permitting.
Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
