REMINDER: Bridge Closure Planned In St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation wants to remind all motorists in St. Joseph that the Cook Road overpass will close for routine bridge maintenance on Monday, July 16. The road will remain closed overnight and will reopen Tuesday, July 17

Closure schedule:

  • Cook Road over I-29
    • Closes Monday, July 16, approximately 8 a.m.
    • Reopens Tuesday, July 17, approximately 2 p.m.

During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route. At this time, no disruption to I-29 traffic under the overpass is expected.

All work and schedules are weather permitting.

MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
