CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will reduce westbound and eastbound NW Barry Rd. to one lane between N. Madison Ave. and N. Jefferson St. nightly from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. beginning Friday, July 20 and again Saturday, July 21 for paving work. The exit ramp from US 169 to NW Barry Rd. will also be closed during the same time period. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
