RAY COUNTY – Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation began a significant pavement repair and paving job this week on Route 10. Covering nearly 12 miles, crews will be working from the Clay County line to Route C. Pavement repairs began on July 16 and this project will last through Nov. 1, 2018. Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. All work is weather dependent. Motorists will encounter a pilot car to help navigate through the work zone. For more information on pilot cars, check out this link: http://www.modot.org/workzones/PilotCarWorkZones.htm
The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
