Asphalt Pavement Repairs to Begin on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County

MACON – Weather permitting, Tuesday, July 31st, work will begin on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County with asphalt repairs. The work will be on the westbound lanes going down Mineola Hill, west of Danville, and in the area of the Montgomery County Route N overpass between the Loutre River and the Callaway County line. The work will begin at 7:30 p.m. on July 31st and end at 6:00 a.m. on August 1st.

NB West of St. Louis will be doing the work. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone while the work is completed. Signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through this area, and obey all work zone signs and personnel. Remember always buckle up and put your phone down to eliminate distractions.
