KANSAS CITY – As part of the Missouri Department of Transportation project along the I-435 corridor, several CLOSURES are planned along I-435 from Stateline to the Three Trails Crossing next week to include:
- The two outside lanes of eastbound I-435 will be CLOSED nightly, Aug. 6 to Aug. 9, from 104th Street to Grandview Road. The contractor will be paving behind the barrier wall. Closures begin at 8 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m.
- On Aug. 7 beginning at 9 p.m., crews will CLOSE the off-ramp from eastbound I-435 to Holmes Road and will reopen at 3 a.m. The contractor will be paving a temporary ramp.
- Two lanes of eastbound I-435 will CLOSE from State Line Road to Grandview Road from 8 p.m. on Friday Aug. 10 until 5 p.m. Saturday Aug. 11. The contractor will be placing new pavement markings and shifting traffic.
This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project that will replaces the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitates the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, and upgrades the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
