ST. LOUIS – People heading into downtown St. Louis or into Illinois this weekend should be aware that MoDOT will close eastbound I-64 between Jefferson Avenue and Illinois Route 3 to replace an expansion joint on the bridge. Beginning Friday, August 10, crews will close:
- Eastbound I-64 at Jefferson Street starting at 8 p.m. The detour will be marked.
- The ramps from Pine Street, 6th Street and I-44/I-55 to eastbound I-64 will close at 7 p.m. Those detours will also be marked.
In addition, the ramps from eastbound I-64 to 20th Street/Chestnut, 14th Street, 11th Street and 6th Street will not be available as they are in the closed section of the interstate. All ramps and lanes are scheduled to reopen by Monday, August 13 at 5 a.m.
Various lane closures continue daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Sunday, August 12 as part of the PGA Tournament at Bellerive County Club. The lane closures are as follows:
- All lanes closed on Ladue Road between I-270 and Route 141.
- One lane closed on I-44 North Highway Drive between Mraz and Bowles.
- The Mraz ramp to I-44 North Highway Drive closed.

- I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from T.R. Hughes to westbound I-70 is closed until the new ramp opens in late 2018.
- Route 61, St. Charles County, access from Route P is closed through September.
- Route N, St. Charles County, all lanes closed between Schaper Drive and Ellerman Oak Drive until mid-August.
- I-44, Franklin County, all lanes on St. Mary’s Road over the interstate will be closed through mid-August. In addition, the American Inn Road intersection at St. Mary’s is closed until late August.
