ST. JOSEPH, Mo – Three Northwest Missouri routes will get a new surface soon as part of a three-phase project. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Herzog Contracting Corp. of St. Joseph to resurface Route W in DeKalb County, Route D in Andrew County and a portion of U.S. Route 136 in Gentry County near Albany. Crews will work during daylight hours, six days per week. The routes will remain open during resurfacing and motorists are urged to use caution, pay attention, and obey all signs, flaggers and traffic control.
Planned schedule of work:
DeKalb County Route W
- Paving: Aug. 10, 11, 13 and 14
- Shoulder work: Aug. 23
- Striping: Aug. 29
Andrew County Route D
- Paving: Aug. 15-18 and 20-23
- Shoulder work: Aug. 24
- Striping: Aug. 30
Gentry County U.S. Route 136 from just west of County Road 429 (east of Carmack) to 0.5 miles west of Route C in Albany
- Paving: Sept. 6-8 and 10-13
- Shoulder work: Sept. 14
- Striping: Sept. 17
