MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work on routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Missouri Route 156 - Sept. 4, road closed between Route H and Mercury Avenue for a culvert replacement. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. that day.
Macon Route T - Sept. 5, road closed between Macon County Route C and Jackpot Street for a culvert replacement. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day.
Missouri Route 129 - Sept. 4-5, one lane traffic from Macon County Route WW to Birch Street for pavement work. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
Macon County Route C- Sept. 6 & ept. 10, one lane traffic from U.S. Route 36 to Route T for pavement work. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
For the closures, motorists will need to use alternate routes. Please use caution if traveling these areas. Remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
