Chip Seals Continue for Routes in Warren and Montgomery Counties

MACON – Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing a chip seal overlay on the following routes in Warren and Montgomery Counties. All work will be completed between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.

Interstate 70 North Outer Road & South Outer Road -  Sept. 4, one lane traffic from Warren County Route F/J (MM 199) to the St. Charles County line.

Interstate 70 North Outer Road & South Outer Road -  Sept. 5, one lane traffic from Warren County Route F/J (MM 199) to Strachs Church Overpass.

Interstate 70 North Outer Road & South Outer Road -  Sept. 6, one lane traffic from Strachs Church Overpass to Missouri Route 47.

Interstate 70 North Outer Road -  Sept. 6 and Sept. 11, one lane traffic from Jonesburg Overpass to MO 47.

Interstate 70 South Outer Road -  Sept. 11, one lane traffic from Warren County Route B to Warren County Route MM.

Interstate 70 South Outer Road -  Sept. 12, one lane traffic from Route B to Warren County Route Y.

Interstate 70 North Outer Road (Montgomery County) -  Sept. 13, one lane traffic from Montgomery County Route NN to High Hill Overpass.  

MoDOT crews plan to seal the roadway with an oil-and-rock mixture. Drivers are urged to slow down, obey flaggers, observe the work zone speed limit and watch for loose rock. Also, please put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
