MACON – Missouri Route 94 is set to reopen today, August 31st, at Lost Creek, located 3.2 miles east of Warren County Route B near Gore, and at Smith Creek, located 1.7 miles east of Warren County Route U near Pinckney. The highway was closed at these two locations on May 14th to replace old deteriorated bridges. Don Schnieders Excavating Company of Jefferson City, completed the work at a contract cost of $1,383,095.
“We are pleased to have these bridges completed,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga, P.E. “For added safety and to meet modern standards, the new bridges were constructed 4 feet wider than the old ones,” he added.
