MACON – Weather permitting, Monday, September 10, Clark County Route Y will close for a bridge replacement at Honey Creek, located 1.3 miles west of Missouri Route 81 near Kahoka.
“This bridge is 54 years old and shows significant deterioration,” said MoDOT Area Engineer, Amy Crawford, P.E. “We are eager to get this replacement underway.”
Bleigh Construction, of Palmyra, Missouri, was awarded the contract on this project in the amount of $843,474. They have 75 calendar days to complete the bridge. Message boards are in place to notify motorists of the closure.
