Randolph County Route DD Was Closed Today at Walnut Creek Due to Deterioration

MACON - Today, Sept. 5, Randolph County Route DD was closed at Walnut Creek, located approximately 1.9 miles west of Randolph County Route Z near Cairo. Significant deterioration was found on the bridge, so for the safety of motorists, the bridge was closed.

Walnut Creek is scheduled to have a new deck constructed starting Sept. 17th, so the bridge will remain closed until that project is completed. Message boards will be in place notifying motorists of the closure.
