Section of Route 39 Re-OPENED in Aurora Between County Road 2200 & Lewis Shaw Drive
Where: Missouri Route 39 from just south of Carnation Drive (near Lawrence County 2200 Road) to just west of Lewis Shaw Drive (near Aurora Junior High School) in Aurora
When: 12:30 p.m., Thursday, September 6
Project Details:
- Route 39 closed between Carnation Drive and Lewis Shaw Drive week of August 20
- Contractor crews connected temporary bypass Carnation Drive and Olive Street (Route 39)
- Carnation Drive between Olive Street (Route 39) and Pleasant Street remains CLOSED
- Work is part of a larger project to build a railroad overpass and complete other railroad crossing upgrades in Aurora
